It consists of a circular plate with a single central hole, installed in the center of the pipeline. With only one throttling hole, it easily generates massive eddy currents and dead zone effects, resulting in poor measurement linearity and repeatability.
Multi-Hole Balanced Flow Meter
It is composed of a pipeline and a flow meter. The flow meter is equipped with a multi-hole disc throttling rectifier (balanced flow sensor) installed on the pipeline section. The size and distribution of each hole are customized based on professional formulas and test data, known as functional holes.
The symmetrical distribution of multiple holes basically eliminates the dead zone effect caused by single-hole throttling and greatly reduces eddy currents in the pressure tapping area, achieving much higher measurement accuracy.
